Does Odoo have a real QuickBooks integration?
Not natively. Odoo ships a complete accounting system of its own, so "QuickBooks integration" usually means one of two things: a clean one-time migration of your historical books into Odoo Accounting, or a live two-way sync through a vetted connector app if you genuinely need to keep both running. We'll tell you honestly which one fits.
Is the Shopify or WooCommerce connection built into Odoo?
No, and neither is any other eCommerce platform. Every serious Shopify, WooCommerce, or Amazon connection runs through a dedicated connector app, and several competing versions exist for each platform. We evaluate, install, and configure the one that fits how your business actually sells, then keep it running.
Does data sync in real time?
Depends on the system and what makes sense. Some integrations sync instantly via webhooks, others run on a schedule. We match the method to what the data actually needs.
What happens if an integration fails?
Failed syncs are logged and flagged, not silently dropped. Most engagements include monitoring so we catch issues before they compound.
Can you integrate a system that doesn't have a public API?
Often, yes. We've bridged legacy and internal systems through database-level connectors, scheduled exports, and other workarounds when a clean API isn't available.
Do integrations get maintained after launch?
Most clients keep us on retainer for exactly this. APIs change on the other end sometimes without notice, and someone needs to be watching.
